Philip Seaman - Senator Group
Philip Seaman, who is a member of the IRIB, the Three Rooms Club at Lloyd’s and was a name at Lloyd's for ten years, has built a career in Insurance Broking spanning over 30 years. During this time Philip has worked for a number of London Market brokers including both large multi national brokers and smaller niche players. During the course of his career Philip has worked on the placing and claims side handling a wide variety of classes of liability business.
Since joining Senator Philip has led the broking team and has been heavily involved in expanding the services provided to the Lloyd’s market. Philip’s primary responsibility is in respect of the delivery of the group’s services to underwriter appointed experts where in addition to managing the team he also handles personally the more complex broking issues.

Steve Goate - Head Of Broker Services UK, Reinsurance Solutions Limited

Professional experience
Steve Goate has over 30 years experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry where he has developed extensive knowledge of the London Market processes. He currently holds the position of Head of Broker Services with a staff of over 30. Steve oversees a third party client portfolio comprised of diverse product offerings ranging from inspection services to broker replacement.
Steve originally came to Reinsurance Solutions from the Sedgwick Forbes Bland Payne group in 1979. Steve held numerous positions within the company working his way from Technical Processing Accountant to Associate Director in 1991. He was instrumental in forming Resolutions in 1996 and became a Divisional Director with responsibility for all technical matters in 1997. Steve’s duties also included serving as part of the Sales and Marketing Team.
Steve has extensive knowledge of proportional and non-proportional business dealing with Marine, Aviation, Composite, Non-Marine, International and North American business. He has dealt extensively with all elements of APH business over the last 25 years and is a member of IACP and Deputy Chairman of AirSP. Steve is well known and respected in the London Market and is involved in all elements of marketing and business development, including client negotiation and the production of service agreements with defined standards and deadlines.

Peter Matthews - Global Reinsurance Consultants Ltd
Peter is the Managing Director of Global Reinsurance Consultants Ltd.and has almost 20 years reinsurance experience gained with both brokers and specialist run-off consultancies. Peter's main strengths lie in: Worldwide Debt Recovery, Commutations and Effective Dispute Resolution.
Gerard Dupre - M.C.D. Consultants (Reinsurance)
Gerard Dupre is one of the partners of M.C.D. Consultants (Reinsurance), a company founded in 1998 which provide insurance and reinsurance related services to a select number of large European and North American companies. Gerard has 30 years experience in the european reinsurance market, one third of which was with the Winterthur Swiss Insurance Group. In 1990 he set up Atropos Management Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Winterthur Swiss, as the dedicated vehicle to run off the substantial liabilities of the solvent stamp companies of H.S.Weavers- and C.R.Driver Agencies. Gerard is skillful multi lingual negotiator who specialises in run off, dispute resolution and commutations.
Bernadette Bailey - Carter Perry Bailey
Bernadette graduated in Law and French before qualifying as a solicitor in 1988. She has over 15 years experience of working in insurance and reinsurance law. Her practice covers both contentious and non-contentious aspects. She has acted in litigation and arbitration, often international, in relation to facultative and treaty reinsurance disputes, binding authorities, and run-off related matters. Bernadette also has wide direct insurance experience, including property/casualty, industrial injury, personal injury and professional indemnity claims and coverage disputes, with a particular niche expertise in fine art. In addition, having spent a period seconded as in-house lawyer to a leading pharmacy insurance company, she has particular expertise in this area. During that time she was involved in many aspects of the insurers business, including in-house claims administration, delegated claims handling authorities, portfolio acquisition by transfer of business, policy drafting, reinsurance arrangements, regulation, compliance and other commercial matters such as intellectual property rights. Her non-contentious practice has included contract and policy drafting, FSMA Part VII transfer and regulatory advice.
Bernadette is ranked as a leader in the field of insurance claims by Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession 2011. She is a member of the Institute of Art and Law and the British Insurance Law Association.
Colin Gray - Gray Wolf Group
Colin co-founded Gray Wolf Group in 1999 after fifteen years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance field with a major US insurance group. Gray Wolf Group assists Insureds and Cedants in the recovery of insurance and reinsurance claims and has managed assets totaling in excess of $300 million and recovered in excess of $60 million for its clients.
Colin is a CPA and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and holds the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance and Associate in Reinsurance designations. Colin has also served as an arbitrator in reinsurance disputes.
Charles J. Catt - CEO of Challenge Group Inc
Charles J. Catt has more than 47 years experience in the London and International insurance and reinsurance industry. He was the managing director of the three UK companies of the NAC Re Corporation until its merger with XL Capital in 1999 and since then has been heavily involved in consultancy activities. Charles a member of many insurance and reinsurance-related institutions such as the Property & Casualty Technical Committee of the International Underwriting Association of London,the International and Research Studies Committees of the Insurance Institute of London, British Insurance Law Association, Chairman of the Reinsurance training and Education Council and sits on various market committees. Charles is focused on general consultancy, arbitration, mediation, expert witness, training and recruitment requirements in the reinsurance and insurance sectors. Charles is a founding member of Challenge Group and now devotes most of his activities towards directing its positive expansion and development.
Ashley Prager- Risk Resolutions
Ashley founded Risk Resolutions Ltd which is a London market based consultancy with over 25 years experience offering claims solutions on behalf of Insurers/ Reinsurers and brokers.
Ashley has been involved in claims within the London Market since 1985, and is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London Market Faculty, Faculty of Claims, a member of the British Insurance Law Association and is a qualified member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Julian Porter- Factorre
Julian has worked within the insurance/reinsurance industry for over 25 years and has recently estblished Factorre. Prior to this Julian worked at Capita where he had responsibility for the development of consultancy services brnded as Lambourn. Julian spent 20 years within the Sedgwick and then Marsh empire taking on a series of management roles within Aviation and Non-Marine both current and legacy business.
