AirSP (Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Service Providers) Announces new Chairman.
AirSP is delighted to announce the appointment of Julian Porter of Factorre as its new Chairman.

Julian was voted in at the February AGM and replaces Peter Matthews (Global Reinsurance Consultants) who steps down after two years in the post. Peter will be a hard act to follow having presided over a period of sustained and steady development which has seen membership numbers more than double. Peter will continue to support AirSP from a position on the Board and play an active role in Association events.
The AGM also saw members, Ashley Prager (Risk Resolutions), Romy Comiter (Smart Business Advisory and Consulting), and Philip Seaman (Senator Group) voted onto the Board to join Julian, Peter, Steve Goate (Reinsurance Solutions), Gerard Dupre(MCD Consultants), Stephen Carter (Carter Perry Bailey) and Colin Gray(Gray Wolf Group - US).
Julian thanked Peter for his commitment over the past two years and said he was looking forward to building on the now strong foundations to embed the reputation of the Association within the market. Julian hopes his appointment will bring something new to the role and intends to introduce new initiatives to add depth to the now established events held annually by AirSP such as the popular Real Ale evening In Norwich and the Annual Dinner in Monte Carlo. Board member Colin Gray of US Company Gray Wolf Group represents AirSP in the US and Julian would like to oversee the appointment of area representatives in other key world markets such as Australasia /Asia and Europe to act as focal points in the strategy to bring the wide skill set of AirSP to a wider audience.
AirSP will continue to work collaboratively with other market groups such as ARC to help achieve effective market communication and offer a range of complimentary benefits to the market. The Board hopes to foster links with other organisations both in the UK and abroad as it continues to grow.
An exciting new development, shortly to be unveiled, is a new on-line Arbitrator listing.
For a small annual fee Arbitrators worldwide will be able to post details of their professional qualifications, positions held (past and current) and Arbitration expertise on the register.
For those in need of an Arbitrator the search facility has been designed to enable criteria specific searches to extract close matches of requirements to experience.
